Local Chicken Restaurant Completely Clucked

HARRODSBURG, Kentucky – So, just why did the chicken cross the road? Well, if you ask residents of Harrodsburg, a small town just outside of Lexington, the chicken crossed the road to vandalize a local fried chicken eatery.

The attack happened just after 3 p.m. local time as employee Ryan Markum remembers.

“We had just finished cleaning up from the lunch rush when our front window was completely shattered,” said Markum. “Then some sort of monster chicken came and really tore the place apart.”

Apart from scaring employees, it’s estimated the chicken did tens of thousands of dollars in damage to the small store.

“We’re going to need to do some major work in the kitchen and dining area,” said Denise Smith, the stores manager/owner. “This chicken really had its feathers in a ruffle.”

Police have no suspects yet in what appears to be an increasing trend in sightings of this supposed “giant chicken.”

Authorities continue to deny the report of a chicken on a rampage.
