Kurca Spotted in Sugar Creek

In a developing story, a giant chicken (Kurca) has been spotted outside the site of the 2009 Sugar Creek Slavic Festival. Making this news significant is the recently reported death of the recently reformed Kurca.

The Kurca gained notoriety last year as it terrorized the United States – that is, until it was so moved by polka music and Slavic heritage at the Sugar Creek Slavic Festival, it changed its ways and became an agent for good.

Analysts have deduced from available information that the Kurca may have, in fact, had a twin. They feel that the Kurca’s twin shares the same size and build but temperament is a factor that can’t be known.

The man who spotted the giant chicken, local resident Gabe Gilbertson, said the chicken seemed upset.

“He was running, real fast and with a purpose. I hear it might be the old Kurca’s brother – if so, I feel like he might be out for revenge,” Gilbertson said.
